Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Le Repos (Resting), Or, La Campagne by Issachar Ber Ryback. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,250.00 (€ 6,870.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Issachar Ber Ryback achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pogrom in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 151,473.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Repos (Resting), Or, La Campagne von Issachar Ber Ryback zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.250,00 (€ 6.870,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Issachar Ber Ryback erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pogrom im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 151.473,19).
