Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Le vieux violoniste by Issachar Ber Ryback. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,190.70). Admittedly, works by Issachar Ber Ryback have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pogrom in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 151,473.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le vieux violoniste von Issachar Ber Ryback zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.190,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Issachar Ber Ryback auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pogrom im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 151.473,19).
