Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Classical Figure In Profile by Ismael de la Serna for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,136.88). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ismael de la Serna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature morte aux instruments de musique in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Classical Figure In Profile von Ismael de la Serna für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.136,88) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ismael de la Serna erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature morte aux instruments de musique im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
