In December 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale, which included the work Nature Morte by Ismael de la Serna. The auction ended at the price of EUR 4,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ismael de la Serna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature morte aux instruments de musique in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte von Ismael de la Serna zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ismael de la Serna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature morte aux instruments de musique im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
