Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanish gitana (The Gypsy) by Isidre Nonell was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,456.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isidre Nonell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mujer de medio cuerpo con fondo verde in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 437,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanish gitana (The Gypsy) von Isidre Nonell kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.456,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isidre Nonell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mujer de medio cuerpo con fondo verde im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 437.600,00.
