Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Consuelo by Isidre Nonell was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 247,035.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Isidre Nonell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2005 the work Mujer de medio cuerpo con fondo verde was auctioned for EUR 437,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Consuelo von Isidre Nonell kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 225.000,00 (€ 247.035,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Isidre Nonell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2005 die Arbeit Mujer de medio cuerpo con fondo verde für EUR 437.600,00 versteigert.
