Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Estudio De Mujer (Study Of A Woman) by Isidre Nonell for GBP 103,250.00 (€ 124,837.01). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 120,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isidre Nonell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mujer de medio cuerpo con fondo verde, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 437,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Estudio De Mujer (Study Of A Woman) von Isidre Nonell für GBP 103.250,00 (€ 124.837,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Isidre Nonell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mujer de medio cuerpo con fondo verde beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 437.600,00 versteigert wurde.
