Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Grand Jockey by Isidore-Jules Bonheur was sold in the Sporting Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2005. The price achieved of USD 20,400.00 (€ 17,226.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Isidore-Jules Bonheur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Steeplechase in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 168,000.00 (€ 141,867.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Grand Jockey von Isidore-Jules Bonheur wurde im Dezember 2005 in der Auktion Sporting Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 17.226,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isidore-Jules Bonheur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Steeplechase im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 168.000,00 (€ 141.867,93).
