Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting and Wildlife Art, which included the work Highland pony carrying a stag by Isidore-Jules Bonheur. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,490.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isidore-Jules Bonheur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Steeplechase in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 168,000.00 (€ 141,867.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Sporting and Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Highland pony carrying a stag von Isidore-Jules Bonheur zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.490,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isidore-Jules Bonheur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Steeplechase im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 168.000,00 (€ 141.867,93).
