Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction JapaneseArt and Design Including Netsuke from the Estate of His Royal Highness The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, KG.,KT.,KP, which included the work Unknown by Ishikawa Toraji. The price achieved of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,932.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ishikawa Toraji have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rajo jusshu (Ten female nudes) in March 2001 with an auction result of USD 16,450.00 (€ 18,705.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion JapaneseArt and Design Including Netsuke from the Estate of His Royal Highness The Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, KG.,KT.,KP durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Ishikawa Toraji zur Versteigerung kam.
