This artwork by Isaack Luttichuys achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2011. In the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction, the work Portrait of a man, half-length, in a black costume with a white collar and cuffs sold for EUR 21,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00.
