This artwork by Isaack Luttichuys achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2011. In the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction, the work Portrait of a man, half-length, in a black costume with a white collar and cuffs sold for EUR 21,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Isaack Luttichuys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of possibly the Stadholder of Friesland and Groningen Willem Frederik van Nasau Dietz (1613-1664), half-length, in armour with a white collar and a purple velvet cloak over his right arm, standing behind a table with a red and white feathere in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 205,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Isaack Luttichuys erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Portrait of a man, half-length, in a black costume with a white collar and cuffs für EUR 21.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaack Luttichuys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of possibly the Stadholder of Friesland and Groningen Willem Frederik van Nasau Dietz (1613-1664), half-length, in armour with a white collar and a purple velvet cloak over his right arm, standing behind a table with a red and white feathere im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 205.000,00.
