The work Portrait of a young man with gloves by Isaack Luttichuys was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2015. It achieved a price of SEK 310,000.00 (€ 33,771.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Isaack Luttichuys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of possibly the Stadholder of Friesland and Groningen Willem Frederik van Nasau Dietz (1613-1664), half-length, in armour with a white collar and a purple velvet cloak over his right arm, standing behind a table with a red and white feathere in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 205,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 55 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a young man with gloves von Isaack Luttichuys kam im Dezember 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 310.000,00 (€ 33.771,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaack Luttichuys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of possibly the Stadholder of Friesland and Groningen Willem Frederik van Nasau Dietz (1613-1664), half-length, in armour with a white collar and a purple velvet cloak over his right arm, standing behind a table with a red and white feathere im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 205.000,00.
