Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sturgeon, lobster, turbot, salmon, oysters, plaice and haddock on a stone ledge by Isaac van Duynen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of NLG 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of NLG 21,063.60 (€ 9,197.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
