Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism., which included the work A Lobster, Cod, Flatfish, Salmon, Crab, Mussels And Other Fish In A Wicker Basket With A Fish Net On A Partially Draped Table by Isaac van Duynen. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,625.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Isaac van Duynen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grapes, peaches and plums in a 'wan-li kraak' porcelain dish and in a wicker basket, a pewter jug and a silver plate, all on a partially draped table in an interior, which sold at auction in November 2011 for EUR 15,000.00.

Im November 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Lobster, Cod, Flatfish, Salmon, Crab, Mussels And Other Fish In A Wicker Basket With A Fish Net On A Partially Draped Table von Isaac van Duynen zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.625,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Isaac van Duynen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grapes, peaches and plums in a 'wan-li kraak' porcelain dish and in a wicker basket, a pewter jug and a silver plate, all on a partially draped table in an interior beobachtet, die im November 2011 für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert wurde.
