The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,758.70), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Pailes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 44,400.00.

Die Arbeit View Of A Town von Isaac Pailes wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.758,70) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Pailes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.400,00.
