This artwork by Isaac Pailes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the British and European Art auction, the work Untitled abstract sold for GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,068.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Pailes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 44,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Isaac Pailes erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled abstract für GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.068,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Pailes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.400,00.
