Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work L'étang dans le village by Isaac Pailes for GBP 896.00 (€ 1,038.27). This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Pailes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 44,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit L'étang dans le village von Isaac Pailes für GBP 896,00 (€ 1.038,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Pailes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.400,00.
