The work Untitled abstract by Isaac Pailes was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,068.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Pailes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 44,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled abstract von Isaac Pailes wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.068,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Pailes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Bouteilles, 1913 im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 44.400,00.
