This artwork by Isaac Oliver achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2020. In the Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours auction, the work Sir Anthony of Padua healing the wrathful son sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 11,851.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Oliver achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elizabeth I and the Three Goddesses in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 368,426.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Isaac Oliver erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Sir Anthony of Padua healing the wrathful son für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 11.851,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Oliver erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elizabeth I and the Three Goddesses im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 368.426,76).
