Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Portrait of a young lady, with downcast eyes, bust-length by Isaac Oliver was sold in the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2015. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,670.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Oliver achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elizabeth I and the Three Goddesses in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 368,426.76).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait of a young lady, with downcast eyes, bust-length von Isaac Oliver wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours bei Christies in London versteigert.
