Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a black dress with a white lace collar and cuffs, a fan in her right hand, before a red curtain by Isaack Luttichuys. The price achieved of USD 14,340.00 (€ 14,549.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaack Luttichuys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of possibly the Stadholder of Friesland and Groningen Willem Frederik van Nasau Dietz (1613-1664), half-length, in armour with a white collar and a purple velvet cloak over his right arm, standing behind a table with a red and white feathere in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 205,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a black dress with a white lace collar and cuffs, a fan in her right hand, before a red curtain von Isaack Luttichuys zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of possibly the Stadholder of Friesland and Groningen Willem Frederik van Nasau Dietz (1613-1664), half-length, in armour with a white collar and a purple velvet cloak over his right arm, standing behind a table with a red and white feathere im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 205.0
