Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work True North Series by Isaac Julien. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,544.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Isaac Julien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baltimore. in November last year with an auction result of EUR 59,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit True North Series von Isaac Julien zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.544,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac Julien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baltimore. im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.400,00.
