Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paradise (Omeros) No. 1 by Isaac Julien was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,594.93). Admittedly, works by Isaac Julien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baltimore. in November last year with an auction result of EUR 59,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paradise (Omeros) No. 1 von Isaac Julien wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.594,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac Julien auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baltimore. im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.400,00.
