A top price for Isaac J. Cullin - as previously expected
In May 2000 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART, which included the work The Finish by Isaac J. Cullin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,900.00 (€ 52,792.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Finish is the most expensive artwork by Isaac J. Cullin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion SPORTING ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Finish von Isaac J. Cullin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.900,00 (€ 52.792,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Finish das teuerste Kunstwerk von Isaac J. Cullin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
