Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work The Cesarewitch Stakes, 1919; A Maiden 2Yr Old Plate, Newmarket, 1913; And The Derby, 1910 by Isaac J. Cullin for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,057.77). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac J. Cullin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Finish in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 32,900.00 (€ 52,792.37).

Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Cesarewitch Stakes, 1919; A Maiden 2Yr Old Plate, Newmarket, 1913; And The Derby, 1910 von Isaac J. Cullin für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.057,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac J. Cullin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Finish im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.900,00 (€ 52.792,37).
