Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gaze Series No. 55 by Irfan Onurmen was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,678.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Irfan Onurmen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2009 the work Soldier'S Portrait (From The New Baghdad Museum Installation) was auctioned for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,175.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gaze Series No. 55 von Irfan Onurmen wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.678,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Irfan Onurmen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2009 die Arbeit Soldier'S Portrait (From The New Baghdad Museum Installation) für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.175,25) versteigert.
