Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (From The Gaze Series) by Irfan Onurmen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2011. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,373.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Irfan Onurmen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2009 the work Soldier'S Portrait (From The New Baghdad Museum Installation) was auctioned for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,175.25).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.373,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
