Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Still life of roses by Irene Klestova. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,647.58), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Irene Klestova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,876.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life of roses von Irene Klestova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.647,58) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Irene Klestova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.876,46).
