In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons, which included the work Still Lifes Of Roses, A Pair by Irene Klestova. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78), 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by Irene Klestova have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,876.46) in November 2007 for the work Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière.
