Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life Of Roses by Irene Klestova was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,314.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Irene Klestova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,876.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life Of Roses von Irene Klestova kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.314,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Irene Klestova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mixed roses in a porcelain jardinière beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.876,46) versteigert wurde.
