A top price for Inka Essenhigh
In May 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session), which included the work The Adoration by Inka Essenhigh. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 132,000.00 (€ 106,891.25). With this result, The Adoration is even the most expensive work of art by Inka Essenhigh that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Adoration von Inka Essenhigh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 132.000,00 (€ 106.891,25) einen neuen Besitzer.
