Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation, which included the work Self-Portrait in Reflection of Car Headlight by Imre Kinszki. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,790.18). Admittedly, works by Imre Kinszki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 1937 in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 23,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait in Reflection of Car Headlight von Imre Kinszki zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.790,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Imre Kinszki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 1937 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.750,00.
