Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work On Mount Rainier by Imogen Cunningham was sold in the PhotographsSummer Edition auction at Bonhams in New York in August 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,728.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Imogen Cunningham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calla in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 312,472.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit On Mount Rainier von Imogen Cunningham wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion PhotographsSummer Edition bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.728,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Imogen Cunningham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calla im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 312.472,10).
