Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Saviour Church on Nereditsa Hill by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,876.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Russian Icarus in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Saviour Church on Nereditsa Hill von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.876,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Russian Icarus im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.836,74).
