Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Golden Autumn by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,589.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Russian Icarus, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
