In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Suzdal sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,017.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Russian Icarus, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
