The work The Last Journey by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov was sold in the Russian auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,100.18), 47% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Russian Icarus, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).

Die Arbeit The Last Journey von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion Russian bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.100,18) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Russian Icarus beobachtet, die im November 2005 für GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.836,74) versteigert wurde.
