Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Old man (illustrated); and Portrait of a lady wearing a pearl choker by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov was sold in the RUSSIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in November 2005. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,577.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Russian Icarus in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).

Die Arbeit Old man (illustrated); and Portrait of a lady wearing a pearl choker von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert.
