In April 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,058.58), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Russian Icarus, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.058,58) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ilya Sergeevich Glazunov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Russian Icarus beobachtet, die im November 2005 für GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.836,74) versteigert wurde.
