Auction result well in line with expectations
The work SAWW (sallalahu aleyhi wasallam) I by Igshaan Adams was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 38,100.00 (€ 35,997.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Igshaan Adams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work For Those Who Know, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 88,200.00 (€ 75,108.58).
