In December 2009 Koller held the auction PostWar & Contemporary, which included the work Im Dorf Solza. 1983. by Igor Novikov. The result of CHF 6,000.00 (€ 4,041.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CHF 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Igor Novikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goodbye Russia. Welcome (from the 'Apocalypse' series) in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,336.66).

Im Dezember 2009 führte Koller die Auktion PostWar & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Im Dorf Solza. 1983. von Igor Novikov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 6.000,00 (€ 4.041,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Igor Novikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goodbye Russia.
