The work Lolita, Mujer Tendida Con Chal Azul (Lolita Reclinign In A Blue Shawl) by Ignacio Zuloaga was sold in the European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 350,000.00 – 550,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 436,778.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ignacio Zuloaga have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) was auctioned for GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).
