Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cándida con mantón chinesco (Candida wearing an oriental shawl) by Ignacio Zuloaga was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,459.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ignacio Zuloaga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.459,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
