In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Coastal Scenery by Ida Ekblad. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,520.73), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ida Ekblad; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in February 2020 with the realized price of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 94,168.93).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coastal Scenery von Ida Ekblad zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.520,73) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ida Ekblad; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 94.168,93).
