Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ibrahim Mahama was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,489.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ibrahim Mahama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ghanaianchale Wote in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,391.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ibrahim Mahama kam im Juli 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.489,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ibrahim Mahama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ghanaianchale Wote im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.391,64).
