The work Ghanaian Untitled (In Two Parts) by Ibrahim Mahama was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,990.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ibrahim Mahama - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ghanaianchale Wote, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,391.64).

Die Arbeit Ghanaian Untitled (In Two Parts) von Ibrahim Mahama kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.990,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ibrahim Mahama mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ghanaianchale Wote beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.391,64) versteigert wurde.
