Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work EMBRACING by Ibrahim Hussein. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 83,776.47). Other works by Ibrahim Hussein have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,120,000.00 (€ 105,923.75) in May 2014 for the work Unknown.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit EMBRACING von Ibrahim Hussein zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 83.776,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Ibrahim Hussein haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.120.000,00 (€ 105.923,75) im Mai 2014 für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet.
