Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Three Heads, Bali (Study) by Ian Fairweather was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Sydney in November 2007. The price achieved of AUD 144,000.00 (€ 86,745.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ian Fairweather have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Beach At Manicahan in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 960,000.00 (€ 580,822.20).

Die Arbeit Australian Three Heads, Bali (Study) von Ian Fairweather wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Sothebys in Sydney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 144.000,00 (€ 86.745,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden.
