Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of, which included the work Standing Nude by Iain MacNab. The price achieved of GBP 587.50 (€ 851.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iain MacNab - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deya, Majorca, which sold at auction in February 2013 for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,177.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standing Nude von Iain MacNab zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 587,50 (€ 851,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Iain MacNab mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deya, Majorca beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.177,92) versteigert wurde.
