Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work Brian Jones, Carnaby Street, 1960s by Iain MacMillan. The price achieved of GBP 357.00 (€ 411.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iain MacMillan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Beatles, Abbey Road, 1969 in March 2020 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,584.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British. Cool. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brian Jones, Carnaby Street, 1960s von Iain MacMillan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 357,00 (€ 411,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iain MacMillan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Beatles, Abbey Road, 1969 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.584,10).
